TMI – Information Frustration?

Breaking News

Life moves at the speed of light. With so much to absorb, maintaining a healthy mental and spiritual perspective becomes difficult. Breaking news, economic chaos, political rhetoric, conspiracy theories, prophetic fulfillment, when all added up easily becomes information overload.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Philippians 4:5

Learn to pace yourself by intentionally creating balance in your life. Too much of anything can become obsessive and even damaging. Vitamins are good – too many vitamins become toxic. Sleep is good, too much sleep results in lethargy and atrophy.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6

Our study and research should not result in stress or anxiety. It should raise an awareness of our surroundings and a spiritual sensitivity to God’s involvement in our lives. We are reminded to place our trust in God – completely. DO NOT attempt to cary the load yourself. Take it to God in prayer.

If you find yourself depressed, anxious or angry as a result of your realization and knowledge of these perilous times, take a step back and breath in some goodness of God’s Word and presence. Maintain balance and moderation in “all things.”

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7

No matter how bad things seem to be, in our minds and our hearts, remember, these things must come to pass. God has everything in control! As a child of God, you are promised peace through Jesus Christ.

Avoid Information Frustration. TMI (too much information) can distract God’s will in your life.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8

See you at the cross!

  1. This is So TRUE! It is easy to get sucked in to all of the end time talk and media over-saturation of political, financial, and social woes of our world. We have to remember that by accepting Jesus Christ in to our lives, we become a part of his chosen people and are promised that all things shall pass, until His glorious return! Hallelujah! Thanks for this reminder to balance our lives with the good things that God has given and promised to us.

  2. Greg,
Do you think Obama going to Israel is significant and something we need to follow as part of the end times?

    • The political climate between America and Israel is an indicator of end time fulfillment. As America continues to bless and protect Israel, God will bless and protect America. As America withdrawals its blessing and support of Israel, it will become increasingly vulnerable as a nation.

God bless Israel and keep her and may America continue to stand with her. Amen.
      GS
